A Philosophical Perspective on Leadership
People in leadership positions today are confronted with major technological and social upheavals, economic uncertainties, and ethical issues. The key to surviving in such an environment, in the long term, lies in one’s own personality. We support executives in developing an attitude that enables them to be confident, self-determined and mentally free. The sources that inspire us lie in the great occidental tradition of philosophy and the traditional wisdom of the East, psychological research and the spirituality of the Jesuit Order, in whose guidance leaders in top positions worldwide have trusted on for more than 450 years. We train and consult board members and division heads of international corporations, as well as executives and family firms when deciding who should take over the business. As a non-profit education provider, we are particularly interested in training talented young people who want to take on leadership responsibility or found a start-up. To this end, we cooperate with the Karl Schlecht Foundation and with universities such as the Jesuit School of Philosophy in Munich, the Technical University of Munich (UnternehmerTUM) and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
